A large rope door stop that is high quality. Handmade by a specialist in historic nautical knot tying. It’s suitable for decorative use or as a door stop for ordinary interior doors. Used to add a coastal feel to any internal room or keep the air flowing around your home.

Designed by a British Craftsman known as the Ropeman. All our rope door stops are made using complex and authentic historic nautical knots. This large rope door stop is made using a knot known as the Turk’s Head. Rope door stops make delightful nautical gifts especially a house warming gift for those that live by the coast.

Materials: This product is made from 100% rope and uses either recycled materials or materials from Manila that supports their local economy.

Delivery: via Royal Mail £7.95. Delivery to UK only. We’d like to deliver overseas but freight charges are prohibitive.

Usage: In windy conditions tie a cord from the doorstop loop to the door handle. The weight will drag the door to prevent slamming. Doors are most sensibly kept closed in strong winds. Made with long lasting durable rope but to last longer and maintain its natural colour we suggest you bring indoors over winter and in wet weather.
