The Charcoal Grey Heavy Buoy is our heaviest and strongest rope door stop and is perfect to hold open your bi fold door or patio doors. It is an outdoor living essential. It will keep doors open and fresh air flowing in your home. Matt grey / black nylon rope around a solid weighted core gives you the confidence to leave your expensive double or triple glass doors wide open.

The Heavy Buoy has a unique sailor’s ropework design. Created by a UK craftsman known as The Ropeman. The Ropeman uses traditional sailors ropework knot tying skills. The same skills that would have been used on Nelson’s ships in days gone by. Give your visitors a feeling of being by the coast in your own garden.

Suitable for up to 18cm drop between base of door and patio surface.

British Made: In this product, a sealed plastic container filled with cement provides the structure for the nylon rope construction, and the weight required for sprung interior doors and expensive exterior bifold doors in windy conditions. There may be slight colour and size variations in each handmade door stop.

Usage: In windy conditions tie a cord from the doorstop loop to the door handle. The weight will drag the door to prevent slamming. Doors are most sensibly kept closed in strong winds. Made with long lasting durable rope but to last longer and maintain its natural colour we suggest you bring indoors over winter and in wet weather.
